H-Net

H-Net is an online resource for the humanities and social sciences.  It is an interdisciplinary and international organization of scholars and teachers who uses the internet as an enormous educational resource for researchers and students.  The hub or nerve center for the organization is at the History Department of the Michigan State University. But the editors, writers, officers, and subscribers, come from all over the planet.  I've been using, referencing, and consulting my research since the 1980's on this site.  I find this a very good and credible resource.  It is also a great site to look up on fellowships, funding, call for papers, announcement and attendance to seminars, workshops, and conferences.  What is also great about this site is that it has networks for all types of topics i.e. Film, Journalism, Asian History, Political Science, Religion, and many more.  I highly and absolutely recommend this site.
